About this project
Join us at this gorgeous coastal park near the Hunua Ranges to help care for the newly planted natives that have been planted here over the past few winters and the parks historic house gardens. Take in the scenery while helping to remove strangling weeds that are threatening our young native trees. These trees, once grown, which will act like filters for the waterways, reduce erosion and provide important food and habitat for our native species. We will also spend time mulching to help these plants survive the coming dry seasons.
For all our projects you are assisted by a qualified team leader who guides you through the tasks and can help you to identify and learn about native species of fauna and flora and conservation.
