Orere Regional Park

Auckland - Deerys Road, Orere Point

About this project

Join us at this gorgeous coastal park near the Hunua Ranges to help care for the newly planted natives that have been planted here over the past few winters. Take in the scenery while helping to remove strangling weeds that are threatening our young native trees. These trees, once grown, which will act like filters for the waterways, reduce erosion and provide important food and habitat for our native species.

What we provide

For all our projects you are assisted by a qualified team leader who guides you through the tasks and can help you to identify and learn about native species of fauna and flora and conservation. We provide all tools and equipment and also provide transport from our office in Eden Terrace (meet at office at 8am). Spots in the van are limited so please book your seat.

Covid-19 update

We are following the advice from government and local council on all Covid-19 restrictions. We are required to keep a record of your contact details for contact tracing. If you have any concerns about Covid-19 procedures, please get in touch.
